Rather than album in a week, I did EP in a day. This is my first attempt at writing music in about 7 months, due to some thangs.

The record is about a series of nightmares I had after watching Trainspotting. (In Trainspotting's defense, nightmares a general occurrence with me.)

So it's divided into four parts:
1) Isolation and Neglect
2) Love and Death
3) Haunting and Awesome Swordfights
4) Life and Happiness (coping with loss)

3 Characters in the story:
The Bad Samaritan, the Bad Samaritan's Lover, and Ida the Ghost. BS (lol) is the main character, who loses his lover and then Ida, who haunts him by running away.

There is a reason for the title and cover art but I realize that it's much more fun to not tell anybody the real story. The day ended before I got to the part in the story, so now it's gone forever.

Inspired by the Microphones, the Antlers, the Avett Brothers, the National, and, of course, Neutral Milk Hotel.
